frustration out of creation. An individual account is included with every Sawgrass printer purchase, and a premium membership is available for unlimited access to additional features and artwork.

Sawgrass continually updates CreativeStudio with customizable artwork and product templates, so that SG500 owners are able to adapt quickly and easily to changing trends and upcoming events.

Sawgrass Print Manager

Because different materials and papers affect the way colors appear on sublimated items, it’s important to adjust the ink output to ensure optimal quality. Sawgrass Print Manager is a software utility that automatically makes those adjustments for you. Print Manager works in the background, managing the flow of color information from your digital artwork to your Sawgrass printer. This reduces wasted ink (saving you money) and ensures the colors on your finished products are as accurate and vibrant as possible.

Provided at no additional cost, this software for color management supports hot folders, gang printing, output to multiple printers, and processes both CMYK and RGB files. SPM calculates optimal output for 13 specific substrate materials, 10 different papers, and three ink sets. This provides 124 “color recipes” for combinations of product materials, inks, and papers.

Currently, Sawgrass Print Manager does not support Apple's ARM processors. However, to ensure full compatibility and performance, they are testing and optimizing their software for ARM processors. There is no release date yet as to when it will be released.

MacOS 10.13 High Sierra – End of Life: In keeping with Apple’s release cycle, macOS 10.13 High Sierra will no longer be receiving security updates as of November 30, 2020. As a result, Sawgrass is phasing out software support for all computers running macOS 10.13 High Sierra and will end technical support for this version in January 2021. 

SubliJet UHD Ink

Sawgrass’ flagship sublimation ink is now better than ever, delivering richer, more vibrant color on both hard and soft substrates, including heat transfer vinyl. The ink stays viable for up to two years from the manufacture date. Using expired ink leads to color shift and ruined the printer, as well as potentially damaging the print heads.

Backward Compatibility

The SG500 is backward-compatible with SG400 accessories, so if you already own a bypass tray for the SG400, you will be able to continue using it.
